I feel I provide the best of both worlds when you walk into my room... there is the Bling side, in which I offer one of a kind acrylic Seagem creations. These beautiful nails are made with abalone seashells, acrylic, and other glittery things that you truly have to see to appreciate! It's like having jewelry on your fingertips. And then there is the Spa side in which the weight of the world is melted away with organic sugar scrubs & oils, warm paraffin wax, and hand/foot massage. So I guess it came natural to name my room Spa Dee Dah Nails .
My experience: I have been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 23 years. I have 2000 hours in my Cosmetology license, a Masters in Hair Design from Gene Juarez ATC in Seattle (550 hours), and four weeks Aveda training (320 hours). I have also apprenticed at two salons, one in Seattle, one in Kent. I worked for 5 years at Audrey's Elements of Style in Olympia, a handful of salons up in Seattle, and also a year and a half as the lead nail technician at The Great Wolf Lodge in the Elements Spa and Scooops Kids Spa. I also worked in Grand Mound for a year before deciding to go into business for myself. I truly believe that this is where I am supposed to be, and feel very blessed to have found a place that encourages each of us to use our talents to make people feel special. Some people want to be notorious... I, however, have always wanted to be known for making people feel good about themselves. It's like the gift that keeps on giving. I am very passionate about what I do, and I believe that every person should feel pampered and "Spa Dee Dah-ed" when they leave. Everyone should have a place where they can "get away", even if it is just for an hour... You won't be rushed here. Your appointment is your time, no one else 's !
